Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Shyft app and its community. By using Shyft, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The service

Shyft helps you discover and download Apple Shortcuts and lets you take part in a community where users share shortcuts, post requests, and comment. Shyft is provided free of charge and does not currently offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Your account

You may participate as a guest or by signing in with Apple. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your access secure.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Shyft lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, bully, or abuse other people.
• Post spam, scams, or repetitive/unsolicited promotional content.
• Post illegal content, or content that infringes others’ rights.
• Post sexual, hateful, violent, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Impersonate others or post misleading or deceptive content.
• Share shortcuts or links intended to harm devices, steal data, or bypass security.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.

Your content

You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it. You retain ownership of your content, and you grant Shyft a limited license to host, display, and moderate it for the purpose of operating the community. You grant other users the ability to view content you post publicly.

Reporting, blocking, and moderation

Shyft provides tools to report content or users and to block users so their posts and comments no longer appear to you. We review reports and may remove content, hide or limit accounts, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice where necessary to protect users.

Third-party shortcuts and iCloud links

Shortcuts are created by Apple’s Shortcuts app and are typically shared through Apple’s iCloud links. Shyft does not own third-party shortcuts and cannot guarantee that any shortcut remains available, safe, or functional over time. Opening a shortcut link takes you out of Shyft to Apple’s iCloud/Shortcuts. Use third-party shortcuts at your own discretion and review what they do before running them.

Intellectual property and copyright

Respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on Shyft infringes your rights, contact us at the address below with enough detail to identify the content, and we will review and act as appropriate.

Termination

You may stop using Shyft and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other users or the service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Shyft is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shyft and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or of any third-party shortcut.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
