Metly is designed with privacy at its core. The app helps you organize and remember the people in your contacts while keeping your personal information on your device.
1. Information Metly Accesses
Metly may request access to your device's contacts. This access is used to display and search contacts, organize recent contacts, enable communication actions, and associate your notes, tags, meeting information, and reminders with the correct contact.
Metly does not upload your contact list to our servers.
2. Information You Add to Metly
You may choose to add notes, tags, meeting places, meeting dates, and reminders. This information is stored locally on your device.
3. Data Collection
Metly does not collect personal data for advertising, tracking, profiling, or analytics. No account or sign-in is required. We do not sell your personal information or contacts.
4. WhatsApp, Calls, and Messages
Metly may provide shortcuts that let you contact someone through WhatsApp, Phone, or Messages. Any information processed by those external services is governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Notifications and Reminders
If you create reminders, Metly may request permission to send local notifications. Reminder information is used only for the reminder functionality you requested.
6. Permissions
Metly may request access to Contacts and Notifications. You can change these permissions at any time in iPhone Settings.
7. Data Retention
Locally stored Metly information remains on your device until you modify or delete it, reset Metly data, or remove the app. Resetting Metly does not delete or modify your Apple Contacts.
8. Children's Privacy
Metly is not designed to collect personal information from children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our servers.
9. Security
Metly is designed to minimize the amount of personal information that leaves your device.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if Metly's features or privacy practices change. The latest version will remain available on this page.
